PRIVACY POLICY

1. Introduction

CloudOps ("app", "we", "us") is developed by Llaps Digital and distributed through the Apple Developer account "Llaps Digital". CloudOps is a macOS developer utility for managing CloudKit containers. The app operates entirely on your local device. We do not operate servers, collect analytics, or have access to your data. All CloudKit communications occur directly between your Mac and Apple's servers.

2. Data Collection

We do not collect:

• Personal information (name, email, contact details)

• Usage data, device information, or location data

• Your CloudKit data or records

• Your authentication credentials

• Analytics, tracking, or behavioral data

• Crash reports or diagnostics

We have no servers. The application runs entirely on your Mac.

3. Local Data Storage

The following data is stored locally on your device only:

Keychain Storage (Encrypted)

Your authentication credentials are stored securely in macOS Keychain:

• CloudKit Server-to-Server Key ID

• API Token

• Private keys for authentication

• WebAuthToken from Apple ID sign-in (if used)

Security measures:

• Encrypted by macOS Keychain services

• Protected with kSecAttrAccessibleWhenUnlockedThisDeviceOnly

• Never synchronized to iCloud

• Never transmitted to any server except Apple's CloudKit API

• Only accessible by CloudOps application

UserDefaults Storage

Non-sensitive preferences stored locally:

• CloudKit container identifiers you've added

• UI preferences (window positions, view settings)

• Onboarding completion status

Local Backups (Optional)

• Backup files are stored in a location you choose

• Files contain CloudKit data you explicitly export

• Backups never leave your device unless you manually move them

4. Third-Party Services

CloudOps connects only to Apple services:

Apple CloudKit Web Services

• URL: api.apple-cloudkit.com

• Purpose: Access and manage your CloudKit containers

• Authentication: Your own credentials

• Data handling: Direct connection between your Mac and Apple

• Our access: None - we cannot see or intercept this communication

Apple Sign-In (Optional)

• Used only for Private Database access

• Handled entirely by Apple's authentication system

• We receive only a session token stored in your Keychain

• No personal information is shared with Llaps Digital

No Other Third Parties

We do NOT use:

• Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or any analytics service

• Crash reporting services (Crashlytics, Sentry, etc.)

• Advertising networks or trackers

• Any third-party data processors

5. Your Data Rights & Control

You have complete control over all data:

Access Control

• You provide your own CloudKit credentials

• You choose which containers to access

• You decide what data to import, export, or modify

Credential Management

• View and remove credentials anytime in Settings

• Clear all authentication data with one click

• Credentials are never shared or backed up to cloud

Data Deletion

To remove all CloudOps data from your Mac:

1. Clear credentials: Settings → Authentication → Clear Credentials

2. Remove containers: Delete saved containers from sidebar

3. Delete local backups: Remove any backup files you created

4. Uninstall application: Move CloudOps to Trash

After these steps, no CloudOps data remains on your device.

6. Data Security

Local Security

• All sensitive data encrypted via macOS Keychain

• No plain-text storage of credentials

• Application sandboxed per macOS security model

Network Security

• All CloudKit API calls use HTTPS/TLS encryption

• Request signing using Apple's authentication protocol

• No data transmitted to Llaps Digital servers

Your Responsibility

• Keep your Mac secure with proper password/biometric protection

• Protect your Apple Developer credentials

• Secure any exported backup files

7. Children's Privacy

CloudOps is designed for software developers and is not intended for use by children. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 years of age.

8. International Data Transfers

CloudOps does not transfer your data internationally. All data remains:

• On your local device, or

• Transferred directly to Apple's CloudKit servers (governed by Apple's privacy policy)

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes:

• The updated policy will be available within the app

• The "Effective Date" at the top will be updated

• For significant changes, we will update the app with a notice

Your continued use of CloudOps after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
